Indiana extravaganza
Stutz Artists Association to host 17th annual Stutz Artists Open House April 23 and 24.
" ...Martha Sando is an artist and teacher who has been painting in oil since age 12. In October 2002, a Lilly
China exchange partnership with Washington Township Schools awarded Sando the opportunity to teach Chinese
students and travel throughout China. She received a Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant in 2007. Traveling to Russia,
visiting the Pushkin, Tretyakov and Hermitage Museum and doing small plein air studies gave Sando the opportunity
to see great works of art as well as create her own paintings. She has taken workshops from Burton Silverman,
Ken Auster, Carolyn Anderson and Todd Reifers."
